Story goes that in Saronno, the cardinal of Milan went on a visit to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Saronno and received as a gift some pastries made with sugar, egg white and almond.

Since then, the popularity of this delicious sweet has spread all over the world.

Located in the center of the town, the Chiostro di Saronno is an ancient Franciscan cloister and the headquarters of the Company, so the place where the prestigious recipes based on genuine products are kept and come to life.
